A house made with your own hands from an ordinary cardboard box became not just a toy, but a real project that brought the whole family together. Initially, it was just a game, but gradually it grew into an exciting hobby filled with creativity, fantasy and joint work.
It all started with a simple box, to which a gable roof made of cardboard was attached. Gradually, the house was completed, acquired new parts, but also collapsed under the onslaught of small children's games. However, this only gave a new impetus to creativity - it was repaired, changed, the design was improved, different styles were tried.
Over time, the idea was born to make it in the style of old Tallinn and old Narva. It was not possible to fully implement this idea, since the whole process was pure improvisation, and the goals and objectives were constantly changing. But this is what made the house unique - alive, with its own history and soul.
One of the most labor-intensive stages of the work was the roof: to create it, more than a thousand small pieces of cardboard imitating tiles were manually cut and painted. Later, with the advent of a laser CNC machine in our company, it was possible to add even more small details, giving the building a unique architectural style of ancient cities. LED strips were also used, which emphasized the details and gave the house a special atmosphere.
This project became for us not just a hobby, but a real journey into the world of creativity and history of the city in which we live. It proved that even from the simplest materials you can create something amazing - the main thing is to put your soul and imagination into it.
